Our Team

We're a small, dynamic team with backgrounds spanning professional development facilitation, early childhood education, team leadership, literacy training, fine arts, administration, finance, marketing, operations and logistics. All of our in-house team are currently undergoing AIATSIS Core cultural learning with these areas of focus: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australia Culturally responsive teaching, Ethics for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Research, Ethics for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, Research in the APS. Our team have also worked together to deliver a number of high performing professional development activities. Needless to say: your story is in safe hands.

Our team is also made up of a panel of trusted contractors, including local illustration talent, voice actors, translators, curriculum consultants and Indigenous knowledge consultants that we gather according to the needs of each project.

Del Costello

Founder and Director

Del is the director of Telling Your Stories. She is passionate about solving educational challenges and partnering with educators to really get things moving. This whole project was Del's BIG idea and it has really flown!

Jaime O'Leary

Project Lead

Jaime is our organisational powerhouse! She makes sure that if a school is ready to tell their story, their connected with the right people - and keeps us all singing to the same songsheet!

Kate Costello

Design Lead

Kate is in charge of asset creation and management. It's Kate's job to manage our team of artists and creatives and help them dream up and execute just what our schools need. Kate also creates and sources our awesome extras. Your wish is her command!

Lani Baxter-Mackay

Customer Acquisition

Lani is in charge of reaching out to our teaching community, making sure they ahve everyhting they need to get their project rolling.

Sasha Farry

Administrator

Sasha is our administration and payroll superstar! She's in charge of all of our invoices and making sure all our ducks are in a row behind the scenes.

Mark Costello

Operations

Mark is our operations man! He's in charge of making sure everything gets where it needs to be for conferences, launch events and our physical resources.
